1. Why Should I Book Premier DJ Entertainment For My Event ?

  • I have over 20 years experience and have played thousands of events.

  • I am fully insured for £10 million Public Liability Insurance and most venues will require this before allowing access to their venue, the certificates are available to view and print on my website or I can email them a copy of the certificates on your behalf.
  • All my equipment is all the latest top of the range and fully PAT tested and regurarly inspected for electrical safety. 
  • All bookings are confirmed with a signed contract for your complete peace of mind .

2. How much do you charge?

Each event is unique and different so I don't believe in package prices such as silver, gold, platinum. I quote for each event on an individual basis tailored to your specific needs. The price quoted is based on various factors including distance, duration, and ease of access etc. Everyone has a budget and I respect that but if you are looking for a cheap disco to compliment your special occasion then I wish you the best of luck,but if you are looking for a top class experienced DJ that is passionate about his work and customer satisfaction then I would love to hear from you.

3. What equipment do you use?

Firstly I would say do not choose your DJ just based on the equipment that he or she uses, would you ask for example your wedding photographer what equipment that he uses or your electrician what tools he use?

Of course all of the equipment has to be fit for the purpose intended and to look neat and tidy. Primarly choose your DJ based on his experience and DJ skills, on recommendation from friends etc. or  maybe one that you have seen at a party that you have attended as a guest.

If you really want to know all about the equipment that I use give me a call and we'll talk for ages about equipment as most DJ's are geeks.

You can be sure  that all the equipment that I use is all top quality professional equipment that is regurarly updated, what I use for each event varies depending on the size of the venue and space available to set up in, this can be a discreet set up in a corner or a full Nightclub style rig. I use the latest lighting consisting of Chauvet Intimidators in white  with customised gobo's, Martin Wizard Rushes and  mirror ball effects . The latest line array sound system in black or white and a top of the range DJ booth in both black or white and if the venue allows a professional haze machine. unlike a standard smoke machine this will not set off smoke detectors , it is a very fine water based mist that highlights the lighting beams as you see in stage productions and TV shows such as the X Factor etc. being water based it will not affect people with respiratory conditions.

4. Can I request music for my event?

Yes of course, I gladly accept requests on the night, I also accept pre-event playlists, all clients are given log in details to client area of my website to use the online planning tools and the  music search section  in order to compile the perfect playlist of music and I will aim to play as many as possible, you can choose the songs from the search results and add them to the appropriate list of the songs that you love ,the songs that you like, but due to time restraints priority will be given to the Love It list. Any songs that don't happen to be in my music database you can add to a custom list and they will all be played on the night.

As well as what songs you want played, it is also important to let me know what songs you don’t want played after all, you wouldn’t want anything played that could effectively spoil the party.

5. Can we meet prior to booking you?

Yes of course if the event is fairly local it is always nice to put a face to a name. I offer a free no obligation meeting to exchange ideas and to find out exactly what your requirements are.

6. How long does it take to setup?

Depending on ease of access and equipment used, this usually takes around 45-60 minutes to set up and down at the end of the night. We always arrive at the venue in plenty of time prior to the event start time to allow sufficient time to set up.

7. What happens if a DJ falls ill?

As well as being a member of the NADJ (National Association of DJ's) we have a scheme in place to provide a suitable replacement DJ in the event of illness or any other unforeseen event. I am also an active member of Mobile DJ forums and can call upon a pool of suitable experienced DJs to provide cover in such an event. In over 20 years I am proud to say that I have never let anyone down yet ! Your event is as important to me as it is to you!

My vehicles are properly maintained and covered with AA roadside relay to get me to your event in the event of a mechanical breakdown.

8. What will you wear for our event ?

The simple answer to your question is....what would you like me to wear? The minimum will be smart dark trousers, black shoes and a smart shirt and for more formal occasions a tuxedo.

9. How do I book Premier DJ Entertainment?

The booking process is simple and straight forward, I will send you a contract for you to sign and if you agree with the terms return it with a £50 booking deposit, this can be a cheque, or by bank transfer.

On receipt of the deposit I will sign my part and return to you with a receipt, the balance is payable a week prior to the event if paying by cheque, understandably I require cleared funds in my account prior to the date of the event  or otherwise cash on the night prior to starting.
